Chandigarh (Arrival) - Narkanda (180 kms / 7 hrs)
Drive to Narkanda via Shimla, commonly known as the "Queen of Hill Stations," after arriving at the Chandigarh airport or train station. Surrounded by woods of pine, deodar, oak, and rhododendron, it is one of the largest and most well-known hill stations. Get to the hotel and check in. Everyone is drawn to fagu. Hatu Peak and Tanni Jubbar Lake are local tourist destinations that are like heaven on earth. Narkanda for dinner and the night. (D)
Narkanda - Sangla (160 kms / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, leave the hotel and make your way to Sangla. Sangla is a charming hill town in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur District. This location is close to the Tibetan border and is situated in the Baspa Valley. The town's name, which translates as "Pass of Light" in Tibetan, is derived from a settlement of the same name. Situated in the Greater Himalayas and surrounded by mountains and forest slopes, the region's picturesque beauty is captivating. Arrive to the hotel. Sangla for dinner and the night. (B, D)
Sangla - Chitkul - Sangla (23 kms / 1 hr)
After breakfast, go via Batseri, Rakcham, and Mastarang village from Sangla to Chitkul, the final Indian settlement on the Indo-Tibetan Road. Enjoy your trip to the villages, valley, riverbank, and temple. Leave for Sangla after a while. Visit Trout Farm, Nag Temple, and the Monastery later. Sangla for dinner and the night. (B, D)
Sangla - Kalpa (51 kms / 2 hrs 30 min)
After breakfast, check out of the accommodation and travel via Karcham and Powari to Kalpa. After arriving at the magnificent 20,000-foot Kinnaur Kailash Peak and Shivalingam. Visit Ragi Village, which is around 6-7 miles from Kalpa and is renowned for its traditional Himachal way of life amid apple orchards. Visit Kothi Village to see the Chandika Devi Temple, which features exquisite sculpture and an unusual architectural style against a gorgeous mountain setting. Kalpa for dinner and the night. (B, D)
Kalpa - Tabo (150 km/3 hours 30 min):
After breakfast, leave the hotel and travel to Tabo by car. While traveling, stop by Nako Lake and the most charming village in Kinnaur. Dinner and the night at Tabo (B, D)
Tabo - Kaza (50 kms / 1 hr 30 min)
After breakfast, leave the hotel and go to Kaza, which is located 3870 meters above sea level. Visit Dhankar Gompa, a mountaintop fort with a view of the Spiti Valley that was formerly a jail, on your journey to Kaza, the Spiti Valley's capital. There are currently over 1600 lamas living here. Several decaying thangkas and a statue of Vairochana (Dhayan Buddha) with four figures seated back to back are among the notable attractions of Dhankar Gompa. Go to Komik Village and Kibber Village. After dinner, spend the night in Kaza. (B, D)
Kaza
After breakfast, drive to a significant monastery, tour the monastery, and then proceed to Komik 4560 meters, the world's highest motorable settlement with electricity. After eating lunch at a neighborhood house in Langza, begin your stroll toward the park's million-year-old fossil. Drive back to Kaza in the evening, have dinner there, and spend the night there. Kaza - Loshar - Kunzum la - Chandratal (96.7 kms / 3 hrs 18 min)
Travel to the Chandratal Lake, one of the Spiti Valley's most picturesque locations. Travel through Kunzum La, a high-altitude pass. Visit the stupa and honor the local goddess known as "Kunzum Mata." The Kunzum Pass, which is 15,000 feet above sea level, links the Spiti Valley with Kullu and Lahaul. Chandratal Lake: Located in the heart of the Himalayas at an elevation of 4300 meters above sea level, this breathtaking blue lake is a sight to behold on a full moon night. Dinner and a tent stay at a site two kilometers from Chandratal Lake. (B, D)
Chandratal - Manali (111.3 kms / 3 hrs 27 min)
Drive from Chandratal Lake to Manali after breakfast. Visit a modest tea business owned by a lovely couple in Batal for a quick cup of tea. Proceed on the Kaza-Manali route from there, stopping for lunch in Chatru. To conclude your breathtaking Spiti Valley journey, drive via the well-known Rohtang Pass and back to Manali. Manali to Chandigarh (Departure) (275 km/6 hrs)
After breakfast, leave the hotel and head to the airport or train station in Chandigarh. (B)
